Elizabeth Gingras wins the $60,000 SynOil Grand Prix
The highlite of the Rocky Mountain Summer Series was today's $60,000 SynOil Grand Prix. A total of 42 horse-rider combinations took the start. But it was Olympian Jill Henselwood's pupil, Elizabeth Gingras who speeded to victory. Together with Coup de Chance she left Leslie Burr-Howard and Moondoggie in a second place.

Coup de Chance got his first international experience in Europe, finishing it up with a clear round in the 1.50m Longines Global Champions Tour in Antwerp some years ago. Now he proved to be a perfect 'partner' for Gingras.

Abigail McArdle and Harriri finished third. The top five was completed by Katie Laurie (Kiwi Iron Mark) and Nicolas Pizarro (Prof de la Roque). Organizer and Alberta top rider, John C Anderson rode to a 7th place with Terrific.

Other locals, Femke Courchaine (TomTom) and Jaclyn Duff (Ceasar Z) made it to the 13th and 15th place.
