RECTIFICATION: Dougie Douglas set for sale

It's an insecure moment for British show jumper Holly Gillott. Her top horse, Dougie Douglas is set for sale. The 10-year-old gelding will be auctioned at the Gala Dinner in the Amber Springs Hotel in Gorey Co. Wexford called the Supreme Sale Of Showjumpers Sale. On November 10th. The auction will be monitored by Equestrian auction website, Goresbridge.

Dougie Douglas (by Ard VDL Douglas) joined Holly's stables aged four. The pair claimed a total of seven international victories.  Already this year they finished first in the The Bunn Leisure Derby Trial, set at a height of 1.60m at the Bolesworth CSI4*. In April this year the horse-rider combination already took a win in the 1.45m-class in Lummen, Belgium.

Holly and Dougie Douglas were also a part of the British team in four Nations Cups, from which the winning team in Rome.
