Extra van Essene and King Julio sold

Marlon Zanotelli’s top horse Extra van Essene has been sold, together with the talented eight year old King Julio. Together with Marlon, Extra van Essene (Diamant de Semilly x Gotthardsen) has impressed with numerous top results during the last indoor season which included a second place in the five star Longines Grand Prix in Basel in January and also a second place in the Glock’s Perfection Tour in February.

In January, Enda Carroll bought the horse from Sylvie Levallois – but has now sold it together with King Julio (King Kolibri x Vulkano). The new rider of the two horses has not been disclosed, but is under the management of Markus Beerbaum.

“Sport wise it is of course sad to see a top horse like this go, but our priority at Ashford Farm is our clients and to sell good horses to them. That’s how we have built our success,” Enda Carroll says to World of Showjumping.
