The Rolex Grand Prix in La Baule was a bit delayed after the injury of Ben Maher's Explosion W. In the end the Jump-Off was competed between 14 combinations. Eventually it was Belgium's Nicola Philippaerts jumping to the 165.000 euro victory.
In the end Belgium's Nicola Philippaerts and Katanga v/h Dingeshof (Cardento) set the fastest clear time, jumping to victory. Last rider at the start, Jens Fredricson and his 12-year-old Markan Cosmopolit (Cohiba 1198) eventually jumped to the runner-up place. Compatriot, Henrik von Eckermann completed the stage aboard his 10-year-old KWPN-mare, Iliana (Cardento).
The Swedish did dominate the final ranking. Marcus Westergren followed in a fourth spot aboardFellaini de Liebri Z (Faustino de Tili), leaving Brazil's Rodrigo Pessoa and his BWP-horse MAjor Tom (Vagabond de la Pomme) in a fifth place.
