The Portuguese rider was able to keep the zero in the saddle of Conchento PS (by Conthargos) and finished in 41.25 seconds. The fastest time came from Michael Duffy. He rode Zilton SI Z (by Zirocco Blue VDL) to the finish in 38.60 seconds but knocked one fence down.
Francisco Jose Mesquita Musa (Jivaro Imperio Egipcio) and John Whitaker (Unick du Francport) completed the top five.
