Emilio Bicocchi victorious in Leipzig

The task in Leipzig Germany this evening was to qualify for the World Cup Sunday afternoon. Italian jumping rider Emilio Bicocchi won the class today.

It was Italian Emilio Bicocchi with Evita SG Z (by Verdi TN) who jumped the fastest clear round. They finished in 60.44, around half a second faster than first runner-up Michael Jung. Jung and Fischerchelsea (by Check In 2) finish in 61.10, placing them second. 

Dutch rider Maikel van der Vleuten, aboard Beauville Z, a Bustique-gelding are around three seconds slower. Putting a time of 64.91 on the clock places them third. 

Fourth place goes to Belgium's Ann Carton-Grootjans. With Kai Licha de Carmel she finishes as fourth, with a time of 66.05. She is closely followed by German rider Nisse Lüneburg aboard Luca Toni (by Lord Z), who finishes in 66.42. 

Markus Brinkmann and Pikeur Dylon (by Diamant de Semilly) for Germany, stay in front of compatriot Patrick Stühlmeyer and Varihoka Du Temple (by Luigi d'Amaury). That makes three German riders in a row, and there could have been more, if it weren't for Evelina Tovek and Dalila de la Pomme (by Taran de la Pomme). With their eight place, they beat Andre Thieme, aboard Cellisto (by Cellestial) and Mario Stevens aboard Baloubet (by Balou du Rouet) on nine and ten, both also German riders.
