The first place went to one of the fewer lady riders: Beezie Madden. Beezie (Elisabeth) once again showed why she is one of the best riders of the world. She and the 12-year old Breitling LS (f. Quintero) rode to the finish line in 61,89 seconds. With this time she beat another former winner of the World Cup, Daniel Deusser. Deusser and Cornet d'Amour (f. Cornet Obolensky) went fast as lightening, but in the end their time of 62,61 seconds wasn't enough to beat Madden. The third place went to another American rider, Devin Ryan. Ryand and Eddie Blue, a 9-year old KWPN gelding, jumped a clear round in 62,84 seconds.
Marcus Ehning and Cornado NRW (f. Cornet Obolensky) was one of the last riders to enter the ring and ended fourth. They cleared the course in 62,90 seconds. The fifth place was for the Swedish rider Henrik von Eckermann. He and Toveks Mary Lou (f. Montendro) jumped the fastest round, but one penalty for jumping resulted in an overall time of 64,33 seconds.
