Belgian combinations dominate the Young Horses in Lier

The second international day at the Azelhof did start with an international stage. After the Youngsters took over the program. In the Price Stoeterij van de Helle, Thierry Goffinet jumped yet again to victory. Aboard the 6-year-old  Kannabis van de Bucxtale (by Contact van de Heffinck) the Starhorses-rider finished clear in 58.68 seconds. Over one second faster as Ireland's Tom Slattery and Fix Blue (by B Zirocco Blue VDL). The stage was completed by Pascale Lombard and Esther-II Des Brumes (by Littl Rock).

Thomas Leemans and the Diamant de Semilly-zon, Kigali van het Lambroeck continued in a fourth place. Lucia Vizzini completed the top five. Together with Kontador van HD (by Darco) finished in a time of 68.34 seconds.

With the 7-year-old horses the Belgian combinations coloured the stage. Vanina Lombard completed on top with the Jarnac-daughter, Venus des Bois. The pair crossed the finish in 59.04 seconds.

Ann Carton-Grootjans continued her form. After placing on stage this morning, the female show jumper now finished as runner-up with JoJoe Ter Doorn (by Toulon). Belgium's Chef d'équipe, Dirk Demeersman and Willy Vannitsen's Justice van het Reigersof (by Cliton) completed the stage.

Thomas Brandt and Catalya 3 (by Cachas) and STX-rider, Petronella Andersson (Eclatant, by Berlin) followed in a fourth and fifth place.
