Berritella and Steffen on top at young horses classes in Lier

In Lier, the young horses entered the ring again today. The winner of yesterday's 5- and 6-year old class aso won the competition today. Rachel Steffen rode Erasmus van ter Hilst, a 6-year old gelding from Ugano Sitte to the finish line in 34,59 seconds. The second place was for Mike van Belle. He and his Edidoune by Wisbecq (f. Atlantys By Wisbecq) left the wood untouched and finished in 34,61 seconds. Jeroen de Winter ended on third place. He rode his 6-year old Karmelita van de Dries (f. Diamant de Semilly) to the finish in 34,61 seconds.

Wilm Vermeir (Kiarado) and Mark Bluman (Vermont) ended respectively on fourth and fifth place.

In the 7-year old class, it was the Belgian Ugo Berritella who took home the victory. He rode his Zangersheide mare to the finish line Kouchette Ter Goes Z. This Kannan daughter left the wood untouched and finished in 32,06 seconds. The second place went to Pieter Kenis and Catoki's Son Z. This Catoki gelding crossed the finish line in 32,78 seconds. Bart Clarys ended on third place. He jumped a clear round in 33,04 seconds.

Daphne Ratzel (Vitit Kervec) and Mathias Hazebroek (Jurne) completed the top five.
