Bertram Allen guided his 11-year-old GK Casper (Canto 16) to victory in 55.89 seconds. Also Emanuele Gaudiano crossed the finish in under 56 seconds. Aboard the 12-year-old For Pleasure-daughter, Quinn van de Heffinck Gaudiano settled as runner-up. In 2017 Gaudiano took over the reins of the Belgian Warmblood mare from Damien Plume.
Germany's Hans-Dieter Dreher completed the stage with his Calvaro-son, Twenty Clary. After a clear round in 56.62 seconds, Dreher advanced on home-rider, Edwin Smits with Lantaro von Hof (Ladiro von Hof).
