Bertram Allen was set for another victory today. In the saddle of the 11-year-old Izzy by Picobello (Cicero Z) the Irish show jumping rider stopped the clock in 44.78 seconds. Only Kevin Staut did better with his Wandor vd Mispelaere-son, Ayade de Septon et Hdc.
Brasil's Yuri Mansur completed the stage. Aboard Carlson (Calido I) Mansur stopped the chrono in 45.50 seconds. With almost two seconds difference local show jumper Philipp Züger placed in fourth with Casanova F Z (Clinton). The pair was followed by Michael Whitaker and the Belgian bred Montender 2-son, Hilanasterne.
