Brits in the lead after the first Nations Cup round in Rome

After the first round of the FEI Furusiyya Nations Cup leg in the ancient city of Rome, it are the British riders who are (again) in the lead. The British team finished with a total of zero points in this first leg. The clear rounds of John Whitaker (Argento), Michael Whitaker (Cassionato) and Robert Whitaker (Catwalk IV) gave the advantage. The Dutch squad is currently in the second position. This together with Sweden.

Rob Ehrens' team had Maikel Van der Vleuten (Vdl Groep Verdi Tn N.O.P.) and Jur Vrieling (Vdl Zirocco Blue N.O.P.) finishing clear. Sweden finished clear thanks to Henrik von eckermann (Cantinero) and Angelica von Essen (Cantinero). With 8 points the Qatar team is in a fourth place at the moment. For Both Switzerland and Belgium the results of the first round were a bit disappointing.
