Nations Cup Division 1; Brits win two in a row

After the first round the British squad was in the lead. And they kept that position. Di Lampard's team finished this Nations Cup with a total of 1 point, good enough for victory. Holly Gillott and Dougie Douglas took a rough start with 12 points. However the pair made up for it in the second round, finishing clear. Michael and Cassionato finished their second round with one time penalty. John Whitaker, aboard Argento, rode two clear rounds. Robert Whitaker and Catwalk IV jumped one rail down in the second round.

Rob Ehrens' team followed in the runner-up position. The Dutch collected a total of four points. World Champion, Jeroen Dubbeldam, and Zenith SFN N.O.P. jumped down one rail in both rounds. Gerco Schröder (Glock'S Cognac Champblanc), Jur Vrieling (Vdl Zirocco Blue N.O.P.) and Maikel Van der Vleuten (Vdl Groep Verdi Tn N.O.P.) finished their second round clear. The third place was for Sweden.

Sylve Söderstrand and her team collected a total of 8 points in both rounds. The Belgian team finished last in this Nations cup. Last year they claimed victory, this year the rain might have played its role on the mood of the riders and horses.
