Christian Ahlmann confirm's leader position winning in tonight's LGCT Estoril
For the five-star riders, Estoril is the place to be this week. A beautiful grass arena, with a bright sun. In tonight's 1.50/1.55m concluding class of the Longines Global Champions Tour a total of eight combinations qualified for the jump-off.

First to enter was Belgium's Olivier Philippaerts. Together with the 9-year-old Belgian Warmblood mare Henna de Goedereede, Philippaerts stopped the clock in 47.48 seconds.

However third rider in, Christian Ahlmann and Caribis Z, set the record time of 47.28 seconds. No other combination could beat the LGCT-leader's time. Olivier Philippaerts eventually placed second. Dutch show jumping rider, Marc Houtzager and Sterrehof's Calimero finished third after a finish in 47.60 seconds.

The top five was completed by John Whitaker (Ornellaia) and Ben Maher (Sarena) in fourth and fifth.
