CSI Waregem: Polish victory in first CSI5* class of the day
The first CSI5* competition in Waregem has just ended. It was a 1m45 'two phases special' class. The last spot on the starting list seems to be a good spot today: after Olivier Philippaerts already won the class for 7-year old horses as last starter, the Polish rider Jaroslaw Skrzyczynski did the same in this class.

He rode Jerico (f. Wieland) in 29,29 seconds to the finish line, leaving the wood untouched. With this time he beat two super fast Italian riders: Alberto Zorzi ended on second place, Luca Maria Moneta followed on the third spot. Zorzi rode Eclat du Bourbecq (f. Baloubet du Rouet) clear to the finish line in 29,59 seconds. Moneta and Neptune Brecourt (f. Cavalor Cumano) did the same in 29,71 seconds.

Stephex rider Daniel Deusser rode Cornet 39 (f. Cornet Obolensky) to the fourth place in the ranking after a beautiful clear round, finishing in 29,78 seconds. François Mathy Jr. ended on fifth place with Falco vd Clehoeve (f. Quickfeuer Van Koekshof).
