The second place went to Qatar's Hussain Said Haidan and his eight year old Holsteiner bred Casanova a son by Canturo. They jumped a clear round in 34.04 seconds. Following on a third place is Salmeen Sultan A M AL Suwaidi (QAT) and Cascano (by Cascavelle) who crossed the finishline in 34.76 seconds.
The top five was completed by Mohammed Said Haidan and his Dutch bred Unaniem daughter Expresso in 36.57 seconds, followed by Abdulrahman Alnemr and his Per Sempre Funny in fifth place in 38.57 seconds. In total 18 combinations out of the 62 made it to the jump-off with only the top five without any penalties.
