Emanuele Gaudiano opens his Shanghai adventure victoriously
After Antwerp the Global Champions Tour has traveled to Shanghai to continue with its fourth leg of the series. Today the competition started with a CSI5* warm-up set at a height of 1.45m. Aboard the 10-years-old Guess 6 (by Bently vd Heffinck) Italy's Emanuele Gaudiano speeded to victory finishing clear in 19.84 seconds.

Gaudiano already secured 28,380 Euro with this win. Germany's David Will and the 16-years-old Mic Mac du Tillard (by Cruising) followed in a second place finishing in 22.34 seconds. World number one, Simon Delestre finished third aboard Stardust Quinhon.

Under a smoggy sky, the setting is colourful at the LGCT in Shanghai. In this opening class the top ten was for sure an international one as the top five was completed by Eduardo Menezes with Caruscka 2 and Veredus-rider Pius Schwizer aboard Electric Z.

A total of 16 out of the 37 starters finished the course clear.
