Jeroen Appelen speeds to Grand Prix victory in Valkenswaard
After winning the final of the six-year-old division, the Belgian rider Jeroen Appelen went on winning the CSI2* Grand Prix in the afternoon. He rode a clear round in 34.83 seconds in the 20-horse jump-off with the BWP gelding Grappeloup van het Reenhof (by Larino).

Appelen also won the Big Tour on Monday with the same horse. Ireland’s Trevor Breen finished runner-up with Serpico (ISH, by Ars Vivendi). Ramzy Al Duhami took third place with Ted (Zang, by Waranta) for Saudi Arabia.

The victory in the Medium Tour was for Sander Geerink, who also won the five-year-old final  with Jetski EB earlier today. Geerink jumped the fastest clear round with Pandora (Hann, by Perigueux). Runners-up were Kevin Jochems and Enjoy followed by Patrick McEntee and Alice Mury Marais Z in third.

Emanuele Gaudiano added another win to his list of three  by winning the Small Tour with Jamar d’Ysenbreeck Z. France’s Lara Postillon finished runner-up with Saphir du Murier and her compatriot Frederic Bouvard took third place with Lubie de l’Elan.
