Michael Whitaker takes six bars win at Mechelen Horse Show

The third international day of the Flemish Christmas Horse Show in Mechelen, Belgium concluded with the Flandria Six Bars class open for CSI2* and CSI5* combinations. Eventually the over 2m obstacles were no match for Michael Whitaker and his 9-year-old AES-gelding, Flawless (by Cheers Cassini).

Whitaker won 4.125 euro with his victory and was followed by a shared second place, taken by four combinations.

Max Kuhner (Alfa Jordan), Rodrigo Almeida (Jamal vd Heffinck), Daniel Deusser (SX Hidalgo VG) and Julien Epaillard (Ususual Suspect d'Auge) shared the runner-up position.

The sixth place was shared between belgium's Gilles Thomas and Vincent Lambrecht with Uncas S and For Passion d'Ive Z.
