Paul Estermann wins Grand Prix Vermezzo after two spectacular rounds
In the Italian Vermezzo the Grand Prix was scheduled to conclude a beautiful CSI3* show. In this 1,55m class, 50 combinations entered the show ring. The class was ridden in two rounds and only the top two managed to keep the zero on the score board after the second round.

Paul Estermann was the fastest with Lord Pepsi. He left all fences untouched and finished in 42,42 seconds. This resulted in a first place. The Dutch rider Yves Houtackers ended on second place. He counted on Abrisco V to jump two clear rounds but his time of 43,50 was over a second slower than Estermann's time. Houtackers also had to take peace with the second place. The Italian rider Luca Marziani jumped two clear rounds as well with Tokyo Du Soleil, but a time penalty in the first round resulted in a third place.

The fourth place was for Nicolas Deseuzes. He and Quilane De Lezeaux got a jumping penalty in the first round, but they rode a very fast clear round in the second round. Because of that, they still ended on fourth place. The Belgian rider Wilm Vermeir took the fifth place with Iq Van Het Steentje. Vermeir already ended on second place yesterday in the Grand Prix Qualifier.
