Rozier's compatriot, Jean Luc Mourier set the record time aboard his 10-year-old Cicero Z van Paemel-son, Jackpot. Together with the Belgian Warmblood-gelding, Mourier was about 8 seconds faster as Rozier but settled as runner-up with one jumping fault underway.
As only clear, Rozier jumped to victory with his Belgian bred, Le Coultre de Muze (Presley Boy). The stage was completed by Monika Dulczewska in the saddle of Basuiat du Lozon (Diamant de Semilly).
