Constant Van Paesschen wraps up the day in Liege with a home win

The day at the CSI3* in Liege ends with a home victory for Belgian rider Constant Van Paesschen.  In the 1.45m GP qualifying class 48 combinations had a go to claim the first spot but it was Van Paesschen and his nine year old stallion Carlow van de Helle (v. Caretino) who took home the win in this two-phase special. The young Belgian rider, that had a third place in the earlier 1.40m class, clearly was in form today 1.40m and now he wins the GP-qualification.  When he entered the ring aboard the Caretino son he had his eyes on the price and flew around the course in a flawless ride of  31.24 seconds none could beat. Second place went to Slovakia. Chudyba Bronislav and Quinsy (v. Quidam's Rubin) rode a very fast clear second phase and followed on 32.85 seconds.  Whilst British Guy Williams, who had just won the 1.40m class, came in third this time with his BWP gelding Depardieu Van 'T Kiezelhof (v. Thunder of Zuuthoeve). Tal Milstein rider Mark Bluman finished in fourth with nine year old gelding Colore (v. Quasimodo the Molendreef). Ahead of German Matthias Poggemöller  who took just a little bit longer with his rid on Ensor and the Moleneind (v. Waikiki from Moleneind). They did stop the clock at 35.32 seconds and 34.70 respectively. Check out all the results here.
