In Salzburg, the 'Amadeus Trohpy' has just been ridden. In this international 1,50m class, 46 combinations battled it out against each other and against the clock. Eventually it was the fast Italian rider Emanuele Gaudiano who crowned himself the winner. He and the 10-year old Guess (f. Bentley van de Heffinck) speeded through the course and finished in 64,28 seconds. The second place went to the young Belgian rider Constant Van Paesschen. He and Carlow van de Helle (f. Carinto) left the wood untouched and finished in 64,56 seconds. Jur Vrieling and Zypern III (f. Casall) completed the podium. They kept the zero on the score board and finished in 66,18 seconds. Wilm Vermeir (Hacienda d'Eversem) and Markus Saurugg (Texas I) completed the top five. In the CSIU25 competition, a 1,55m class was ridden as well. The young riders could collect precious points for the Longines ranking. In this class it were the German riders who ruled the show. The German lady rider Pia Reich jumped to the victory with her 11-year old Quiwi Dream (f. Quidam de Revel). She was the only one would could jump a clear first round, so she didn't had to ride a jump-off to take the victory. Manjun Kwon and Coral Springs (f. Ard VDL Douglas) took the second place. They jumped a fast first round but got one jumping penalty. Simon Widmann and Domburg van de Rechi (f. Heartbreaker) completed the podium.
