Kevin Jochems still in Intensive Care after bad fall in Oliva

The Dutch showjumper Kevin Jochems had a bad fall this week at the competition in Oliva. Jochems was riding one of his horses with some dressage practice when the horse stumbled and fell. Jochems had a bad fall and broke his pelvis. He was taken to the hospital were he remains in the IC for now. He needed to have surgery to put the pelvis back together with a surgical pin in his leg. This should keep things in place. All his bleedings have stopped after the surgery. Today he will be scanned for further injuries. The 21 year old from the Dutch town Asten performed in Oliva with his horses Kadans Como, Que Sera, Quppydam des Horts, Uchin Imperio Egipcio, Happy Feet and Kilcoltrim Blue.
