Ireland's Darragh Kenny won Wednesday's 1.50 Prize of StädteRegion Aachen in memory of Landrat Hermann-Josef Pütz aboard Picolo (Diamant De Semilly x Alme). Coming in half way in this two-phased fifty riders class – Kenny rode a blistering fast second round to a time of 29.78 seconds pushing Doda de Miranda and AD Nouvelle Europe Z (Nelson Z x Jimtown) down to runner-up position with their time of 30.68 seconds. Third place went to Eric Lamaze on Fine Lady 5 (Forsyth x Drosselklang II) 31.13.
