British eventer William Fox-Pitt has been taken to hospital after falling on the cross-country track at the World Championships for Young Horses in Le Lion d'Angers, France. In the seven-year-old CCI** William was riding Reinstated. So far it is believed the horse was not injured in the incident. The course was held for more than an hour while William received medical assistance. On his other horse, The Soapdodger, Fox-Pitt completed the course already, finishing in fifth place. Aboard Lennox 364 it is Michael Jung who heads the competition.
