At CHIO Aachen, the second qualifier for the prestigious Rolex Grand Prix took centre stage today. The differences in the decisive jump-off were incredibly small, but in the end it was Lillie Keenan who proved unbeatable.
Lillie Keenan claimed victory aboard Kick On (Warrior). The American rider delivered two faultless rounds and secured the win with a fast jump-off time of 38.21 seconds.
Abdel Saïd followed in an impressive second place with Wathnan Bonne Amie (A Big Boy). In a lightning-fast jump-off, he raced to silver in 39.59 seconds.
Third place went to José María Larocca aboard Chris (Contendro I). The Argentinian rider produced a strong jump-off round in 40.10 seconds while also leaving all the fences untouched.
Jérôme Guéry narrowly missed out on the podium by just half a second with Quito de Mariposa (Comme Il Faut 5). The Belgian combination stayed faultless in both rounds and secured fourth place in this prestigious qualifier.
Ben Maher completed the top five with Point Break (Action-Breaker). The British pair also managed a double clear performance, once again confirming their consistency at the highest level.
