Swedish championship team revealed for 2025!

This year, Sweden is the defending champion at the European Championships this summer! In preparation for this championship, which also serves as a qualifier for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, Ridsport has announced its A-team. “We are going for the gold medal again,” says Swedish team chef Henrik Ankarcrona. “This championship is important for Sweden on several levels!”

The championship team for Sweden is:

  • Malin Baryard Johnsson - H&M Indiana (Kashmir van Schuttershof, breeder: W. Verlinden, owner: Stuteri Arch).
  • Rolf-Göran Bengtsson - Zuccerco HV (VDL Zirocco Blue, breeder: Hanno Koehnke, owner: Holsteiner Verband).
  • Henrik von Eckerman - King Edward (Edward 28, breeder: Wim Impens, owner: Dufour Stables) and Iliana (Cardento 933, breeder: J.A.M. Bocken, owner: Dufour Stables).
