There is no stopping the 'golden' duo, Hello Jefferson and Scott Brash! After winning the 1.50m CSI5* in Al Shaqab on Wednesday, the duo also jumped to the 1.55m main victory in Qatar on Thursday! Following a jump-off with eleven, Scott Brash jumped the Bernard Mols-bred BWP gelding, Hello Jefferson (Cooper van de Heffinck) to victory in 39.93 seconds. The pair stayed just under a second ahead of Hans-Dieter Dreher and the SF gelding, Vestmalle des Cotis (Baloubet du Rouet). Brazilian show jumper Santiago Lambre completed the top three in the saddle of the 15-year-old Zeusz (Cartogran).
The duo was followed by Abdulrahman Alrajhi, who with Lorenzo ES (Comme Il Faut) stayed ahead of Duarte Seabra and Dourados 2 (Diarado).
Niels Bruynseels also caught the eye. Bruynseels qualified for the jump-off. With Oaky Flandria (H&M Cabrio vd Heffinck), Bruynseels jumped to an eventual 10th place.
