The event, which promises to be one of the highlights on the show jumping calendar, will take place at the Casas Novas Equestrian Center from July 16 to 20. This will be the third Jumping European Championship hosted in Spain. The competition was previously held in Gijón in 1993 and in Madrid in 2011. In 2025, A Coruña joins the list of host cities for this prestigious sporting event!

The Competition

Held every two years, the competition is considered one of the most important events on the international equestrian calendar. The championship brings together the best riders from across the continent at Casas Novas. This marks the third time Spain is hosting the championship, and the first time it is being held in Galicia and in the province of A Coruña. With this, A Coruña joins other prominent host cities of the event such as Milan, Rotterdam, Gothenburg, and Windsor.

Casas Novas Equestrian Center

The Casas Novas Equestrian Center, opened in 2000 in Larín (Arteixo, A Coruña), is regarded as one of the most prestigious equestrian venues in the world. With its exceptional facilities, it hosts top-level competitions both in summer and winter—the latter having been part of the World Cup since 2016—and has become a must-visit destination for the elite of show jumping.
For this reason, the center was selected last year by the International Equestrian Federation as the host venue for the 2025 Jumping European Championship!
