Top riders from all over the world will be competing in this phenomenal climax of the Longines Global Chapions Tour. Tickets go to Ludger Beerbaum, Katrin Eckermann, Denis Lynch, Sanne Thijssen, Malin Baryard-Johnsson, Christian Ahlmann, Daniel Deusser, Henrik von Eckermann, Marlon Modolo-Zanotelli, Max Kühner, Pieter Devos, Michael Pender, and Christian Kukuk. As previously announced, Shane Sweetnam will not start due to a planned family wedding and will now be replaced by two-time Olympic champion McLain Ward. The last ticket in the series could be obtained in Riyadh, and went there to the Dutchman Harrie Smolders.
