Bertram Allen and Edison de Hus put the 1.50m Dublin Stakes to their name

The Irish combinations dominated this main class of the day at Dublin Horse Show with a win for Bertram Allen and Edison de Hus.

Allen and the 9yo gelding were one of the nine competitors in a jump-off with nine. The Irish pair weren't caught on a fault and set the time at a fast and unbeatable 33,39s. For Daniel Coyle (IRL) there was second place after he rode Gisborne VDL (v. Zirocco Blue) to the finish with 33,50s on the clock. The two combinations were clearly evenly matched as Cmdt Geoff Curran (IRL) came on third with a time of 34,85s for his clear round on Glengarra Wood (v. Capitalist).

Harry Allen (IRL) treated the home crowd with the last clear jump-off and succeeded on the back of Iron Lady van de Zuuthoeve (v. Thunder vd Zuuthoeve). Eduardo Alvarez Aznar (ESP) interrupted the Irish party and put fifth place to his name on D'Orient Batilly (v. Numero Uno).
