Diamanthina van 't Ruytershof passed away

Earlier this year, the well-known mare, Diamanthina van 't Ruytershof (Diamant de Semilly) passed away at the age of 20. The owner reported this to our editor. The full sister of Emerald was successfully competed at the highest level by Constant van Paesschen. The mare also made her mark in breeding.

Diamanthina was born in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium in the stables of Bert van den Branden. Internationally the mare first competed with Niels Bruynseels. Afterwards Constant van Paesschen took over the reins. This resulted in several international wins such as the 1.50m of the CSI5* GCT in Chantilly but also during the 1.55m CHIO 5* In Rotterdam in 2015. Since 2015, the mare was owned by the Belgian Stud Van de Helle.

Emerald's full sister also made her mark in breeding with successful offspring such as Le Blue Diamond van 't Ruytershof, Herald van 't Ruytershof and Kentucky van 't Ruytershof, all active at 1.60m level.
