Late last week, Explosion W (by Chacco-Blue) made an unfortunate landing after the water jump at La Baule, after which he left the track limping. It's now said to be a soft tissue-injury. An update from Ben Maher has been shared on his social media.
Last week the duo was competing in La Baule when things went wrong on Sunday, during the CSI5* Rolex Grand Prix. After jumping over the water, the gelding took a wrong landing, whereupon he left the course limping. The 14-year-old gelding is now back home and being cared for by the veterinary team. Further research into the injury has shown that it's a soft tissue-injury.
"He is happy and is still full of character," Ben Maher echoed. He also thanks everyone for their understanding and support.
