Forza Italia in Indoor Derby of Dutch Masters with Lorenzo de Luca and Dirka de Blondel on top

It was a spectacle all around with twelve riders and horses giving it their all to win the CSI5* 1.45m Speed and Handiness in 's Hertogenbosch where the top spots were reserved for the Italian forces.

The fastest combination was Lorenzo de Luca (ITA). The Italian secured his second victory here on Dutch soil aboard Dirka de Blondel (Very Berlin de Castel). Fellow countryman Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) could still claim the win as the last to go, but had to settle for second place with approximately one second behind, riding Jaja, a 10-year-old KWPN mare by Zirocco Blue. Gudrun Patteet (BEL) entered the arena armed with Sea Coast Monalisa van 't Paradijs. The Belgian rider had the fastest time on the daughter of Bamako de Muze, but three added seconds due to their jumping fault relegated them to the bronze position.

Sanne Thijssen (NED), riding her own-bred Tippy Z (Tyson), took all the risks and could therefore finish with the fastest time. The duo had nine seconds added due to some poles falling in the sand, putting them in fifth place. In fourth place came Piet Raijmakers Jr (NED). He had a flawless ride on Van Schijndel's Olaya Z (Ogano Sitte).
