The first 5* competition of the day in St. Tropez was a 1.45m high Longing Ranking class scored on faults and time. In the end it was the Italian Giulia Martinengo Marquet on the back of Scuderia 1918 Calle Deluxe (Cesano 2) who set the fastest time with a clean sheet.
Martinengo Marquet stopped the time almost a second faster than Kevin Staut, who became second with the 10 year old Havanabalia Grand Moustier Z D (Hoegie Van'T Bergske). In third place, Darragh Kenny received bronze on the back of the grey stallion Rockstar (E Star).
Over 2 seconds slower, Riccardo Pisani closed in fourth with Seronera (Chacco-Blue). The top five was completed by Konstantin E. van Damme and United (Ugano Sitte).
