Gudrun Patteet will not compete in Lanaken due to health reasons

Belgian rider Gudrun Patteet will not be competing at the World Championship for Young Showjumping Horses in Lanaken. The rider announced this herself through her social media after many questions about her absence from the start lists.

The rider explained to our editorial team that she had to undergo surgery last week but hopes to be back in the saddle next week.

"Fortunately, I have a fantastic team supporting me, continuing to train and care for the horses while I recover," Patteet added.

We wish Gudrun a speedy recovery!
