Julien Epaillard takes over the reins of the full brother of legendary Orient Express

French rider Julien Epaillard has added a new talent to his stable in the form of Grabuge, an eight-year-old stallion from the studbook of the Anglo-Norman sport horse (CSAN) and the own brother of the legendary Orient Express. Under the guidance of Elodie Fortiée, Grabuge has already shown all his potential with three faultless rides at 1.25m under the saddle of Epaillard.

Grabuge, a son of Quick Star and Kamtchatka, the mother of Orient Express, has already had an impressive career. He achieved an ISO 150 in 2023 and has won, among other things, a Top 7 competition at 1.40m and participated in the final of the French championship for seven-year-old horses in Fontainebleau. With his new rider, the current number five in the world, Grabuge has already shown that he is ready for bigger goals.
