Julien Epailllard triumphs in CSI2* Grand Prix Saint-Lô

The CSI2* Grand Prix of Saint-Lô promised to be a spectacle and did not disappoint, with 47 combinations participating in the challenging competition. Ultimately, only 8 of them made it to the coveted jump-off, which was won by Julien Epaillard.

Julien Epaillard dominated the competition and claimed the top spot. Riding Alibi de la Roque (by Mylord Carthago), Epaillard showcased a stunningly fast and flawless round, resulting in a quick time of 39.40 seconds. Scott Brash secured the second position with Folie de Nantuel (by Luidam). Brash displayed an impressively fast pace but couldn't match Epaillard's time. Their faultless round, however, resulted in a time of 40.37 seconds. In the third place, we saw Alexa Ferrer, piloting the Zangersheide mare Caetlin vd Heffinck Z (by Chacco Blue). Their faultless round in 44.23 seconds earned the eight-year-old mare and the French rider the bronze medal.

The fourth and fifth places were claimed by Adelaide Lautie with Undercover Z (by Ugano Sitte) and Steve Guerdat with Albfuehren's Iashin Sitte (by Bamako de Muze), respectively.
