Saudi Arabian Khaled Almobty, in the saddle of the KWN gelding Jaguar King WD, was the only one to stay off the wood in the decisive phase. With W. Dekker's breeding product, he also had the fastest time and thus secured victory. Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann, the winner of the LGCT Grand Prix in Cannes, was second on the 9-year-old stallion Cellagon Cascais (Colestus). The bronze was Brazilian-tinged and was for Rodrigo Pessoa and the Ogrion des Champs offspring Starman.

Antoine Ermann had Comic Star, a daughter of Levistan under the saddle to finish fourth. Willem Greve had his Olympic horse under the saddle for this Grand Prix on home soil. The KWPN stallion Grandorado TN N.O.P. (Eldorado vd Zeshoek) stayed off the wood in the first round. In the jump-off the duo rode a rather timid round which earned them fifth place.
