The last 4* class of the day in Rouen, France, a 1.40m accumulator class, was a direct hit for the Dutchman Mans Thijssen. In the saddle of the 9-year-old I'M Here (Carambole) he jumped to a brilliant gold medal.
With just 44.51 seconds on the clock, Tijssen, on the back of his KWPN mare I'M Here, raced to the top of the rankings with thirty hundredths ahead. The Belgian Axel Vandoorne then followed with the 13-year-old BWP gelding Jacarta (Larino) as second, followed by Richard Breul who jumped to bronze on home soil in 45.30 seconds in the saddle of Bookmaker Compostelle (Felton du Mont).
Another Belgian, Charlotte Philippe, followed in fourth place with the 10-year-old Godiva S (Andiamo Z). William Funnell sent 9-year-old Billy Pablo to the end of the top five for Great Britain in 45.92 seconds.
