Pius Schwizer and Dubai du Bois Pinchet celebrate their first victory together in CSI3* 1.55m Grand Prix of St-Tropez

Since early October, Pius Schwizer has taken the reins of Dubai du Bois Pinchet from Bryan Balsiger. The 14-year-old sBs mare achieved her first victory today with the Swiss rider. The duo claimed the top spot in the CSI3* 1.55 Grand Prix in St-Tropez.

The daughter of Kashmir van Schuttershof had previously had success under her other Swiss rider, Bryan Balsiger, but is now performing excellently under the saddle of the more experienced Pius Schwizer. Only 8 out of 43 combinations in this Grand Prix secured a spot in the jump-off. Schwizer and Dubai du Bois Pinchet completed the 1.55m high course flawlessly in a time of 38.24 seconds, making them the fastest pair.

The duo left two local combinations behind. With a time of 39.10 seconds, Lalie Saclier rode the 9-year-old J'Adore (Carambole) into second place. Just four hundredths of a second behind, Megane Moissonnier claimed third place aboard Cordial (Casall). The Brazilian Marlon Modolo Zanotelli also left all the poles untouched with Cornest (Balou du Reventon) and finished fourth, followed by Laura Rayjasse (FRA) and Crapule Verdoso (Kannan).
