On the schedule at CHI Basel today were two 5* 1.45m classes, one against the clock and another that was held over two phases. While Daniel Deusser secured a win in the first class earlier, it was Scott Brash who took the gold in the two-phase class.
Riding Hello Mr President (Comme d'Api v/d Hacienda Z), Brash delivered the fastest round of twenty clear combinations, classifying first in a time of 27.66 seconds. The other two medalists also needed less than 28 seconds to get through the second phase flawlessly, with Simon Delestre aboard Dexter Fontenis Z (Diarado) finishing just seven hundredths ahead of Brazilian Yuri Mansur and Miss Blue Mystic Rose (Chacco Blue).
Outside the podium, Swiss Pius Schwizer on Casallino (Casall) and Roger Umnus with Cupido (Cantos) filled the remaining top five spots.
