Tom Tarver - Priebe steered Fiber Fresh Popeye to victory in the CSI4*-W 1.50m Longines Ranking class which also counted as a qualifier for the Grand Prix of the Morocco Royal Tour in El Jadida.
A fast but also clear round earned Simon Delestre (FRA) the bronze medal with the 9-year-old BWP mare Olga van de Kruishoeve (El Torreo de Muze). Andre Thieme (GER) took the 9-year-old Paule S (Perigueux) to the silver and followed after Tom Tarver - Priebe (NZL) who took home the victory on Fiber Fresh Popeye (Cardento 933).
In this qualifier, Marine Scauflaire (BEL) bet on Hortus d'Hoogpoort. The 10-year-old stallion by Diamant de Semilly put his best foot forward and was taken just off the podium by the 30-year-old rider. The duo triumphed with fourth place and were among the fastest in the class! With over five seconds difference, Scauflaire left behind her compatriot Virginie Thonon (BEL), who took fifth place with the Edgard de Prefontaine (Contact vd Heffinck).
