Wilm Vermeir and Dm Jacqmotte part ways after 15 year together

Wilm Vermeir bids farewell to Dm Jacqmotte after fifteen years. The son of Toulon, one of Vermeir's favorite stallions, is a breeding product of his father-in-law, Eric Bongaerts.


The sBs (Studbook sBs) horse spent his entire career under Vermeir's saddle, who trained him from a young horse to the highest level of the sport. Together, they achieved 7 first-place finishes, 4 second-place finishes, and another four third-place finishes. Their most significant victories together include the CSI5* 1.45m Derby in Dinard and the CSIO3* Nations Cup in Linz-Ebelsberg.

Vermeir himself stated: "After 15 years in our stables, always ready to give everything. He has participated in the biggest competitions worldwide. Geneva, Calgary, Aachen, Doha, New York,... Too many to mention."

The new rider for the fifteen-year-old horse has not been announced yet.
