Yves Vanderhasselt and Merald van 't Zorgvliet top Friday's CSI4* 1.50m in Canteleu

Fourteen out of over sixty combinations made it to the jump-off of this French main class, with an impressive five of them under the Belgian flag! Vanderhasselt and the 12-year-old stallion were one of the three faultless combinations in the final phase, clocking in at 39.28s. Local rider Victor Laudet came close with Etadam du Breche (Ustinov) but their time of 39.44s placed them second. Swiss rider Romain Duguet piloted the sBs gelding Hunger Games du Champ du Bois (Elvis ter Putte), bred by Clemence Baudoux, to a flawless ride in a time of 40.08s, securing third place.

Constant van Paesschen pushed Diaz du Thot (Ready Boy des Forets) to top speed, but a rail down dropped them to fourth. Cyril Cools followed in sixth place with Great Britain V (Nabab de Reve).
