The five-year-old O'White, a son of Emerald van 't Ruytershof, set the tone for the two-day October auction of Youhorse.auction with a top bid of €81,500. “Tonight, Wednesday October 2, will be round two, and it promises to be another spectacle with phenomenal horses,” predicts Mario Everse.

A great start for organizer Mario Everse: “This time, we were able to select so many outstanding horses and foals that we decided to spread the auction over two evenings. We had an amazing first night, which shows that our clients are just as excited about the collection as we are. There is a strong demand for unique horses with excellent jumping technique, especially those with special colors and markings.”

The five-year-old gelding O'White (Emerald van 't Ruytershof x No Limit) is the total package: a chestnut with a lot of white and remarkable jumping talent. The gelding sparked a fierce bidding war, which ended with the final bid from buyers in Qatar. The four-year-old grey gelding Kaiser W Z (Kasanova de la Pomme x Argentinus) also earned his place as one of the auction’s top sellers, going for €75,000 to buyers from USA.

The six-year-old Vangelis (Vagabond de la Pomme x Cormint) is one of two experienced 1.30-1.35m horses that will soon compete under the Spanish flag. The second is the seven-year-old Raphael van Horst (Navajo van 't Vianahof x Heartbreaker), sold for €30,000. The five-year-old Olson HV (Grandorado TN x Voltaire) was sold for the same price to buyers in Canada.

Poland gained two five-year-old talents on Tuesday evening: Ambolito (Armison x Quidam de Revel), sold for €26,000, and Cavaliere (Cavani x Acorado I), who changed hands for €17,000. The four-year-old Unreal To Me d'Ici, a son of Luigi d'Eclipse, is headed for a future in Great Britain.
