Angelie von Essen and Cream Sheridan (by Cappucino) followed in a second place. Leaving Brit Robert Bevis and the 14 year old Gelding Courtney Z (by Chellano Z) in a third spot. A total of 15 horse-rider combinations finished their course without touching the wood and within the time allowed. The top five was completed by Johnny Pals (Urjul van Generhese) and French Nicolas Delmotte (Darmani van T Heike). Later the day the Derby Arena was a host for the CSIO5* 1.50m class. It was again Belgium who claimed victory. This time Belgian Champion, Gilles Dunon was the Lucky 'bird'. Aboard Fou de Toi vd Keihoeve (by Toulon) he set the time at 65.33 seconds. Dutch Harrie Smolders came close with the 10 year old Aiyetoro (by Concorde), but had to be satisfied with a second spot. Swedish Angelie von Essen placed again. Aboard Jordan II (by Air Jordan) she took home the third place. Two Swiss pairs completed the top five. Janika Sprunger (Bonne Chance Cw) and Niklaus Rutschi (Si Gracieuse Ardente) made it to the fourth and fifth place.
