VDL Groep Sapphire to be retired

Since his last victory in November at the CSI3* in Maastricht, the Netherlands, it has now been decided that VDL Groep Sapphire will enjoy its retirement, aged 16 years-old. Maikel Van der Vleuten debuted the white horse in 2008 on the international stage. The Mr Blue-daughter jumped to a total of 11 international victories. From which one worldcup victory in London. Further she has a total of 3 international GP victories on her name. We hope she can now enjoy the green Dutch fields...
