Sergio Alvarez Moya's Carlo 273 to retire from the sport

Sergio Alvarez Moya will bring his trusted 17-year-old Carlo 273 one more last time in the arena at the CSI5* in La Coruna, Spain. The show jumping rider won't be competing as he underwent surgery earlier this month. The Contender-son, Carlo will in Coruna retire from the sport. Moya and Carlo teamed up in 2012. Before it was Great-Britain's Nick Skelton who competed in the saddle of Carlo 273. Together with Moya Carlo competed at the Olympic Games in rio. The grey one also made the finish in three European championships in Aachen, Herning and Madrid.
